Current Projects

We have several projects in development, and are excited about the future of disc golf in Western NC and beyond!

Lake Julian Disc Golf Course – Arden, NC. Lake Julian is a partially-wooded and moderately-hilly course that is currently in a third redesign due to Duke Power installing another substation. The design highlights some thrilling water holes with beautiful lake views. We incorporated multiple concrete teepads and basket locations to ensure the course could be played by intermediate players as well as avid disc golfers. After a significant revamp in 2018, this course has become one of the best courses in Western North Carolina.

Summit Charter School – Cashiers, NC.  Currently designing this 9-hole, beginner-friendly course for students and staff.  It utilizes a mature forest, open hillsides, and rolling hills. 

Jacob Fork Park Disc Golf Course – Newton, NC is a championship course design that was created to play as a par 65.  It features several water hazards, long fairways and lots of elevation change.  Other park infrastructure is still being completed before the course can be finalized.   

Black Mountain Home for Children, Youth and Families – Black Mountain, NC  Opening early Spring 2021, this semi-private course that will challenge beginners and top pros alike!  The home is looking forward to adding the disc golf course to provide great outdoor recreation for the kids and staff, as well as hosting numerous PDGA-sanctioned tournaments and weekly club events.  The course winds through open fields and beautiful mature forests offering lots of very different shots…and lots of hiking!

Fletcher Academy – Fletcher, NC. The design for this 18 hole course is just now underway. More updates soon.
